Thread-topic: IOException when run from AS/400

Hi,
I have a Java pgm that creates file in a remote location (using PC server path 
as //serverName/dirName/fileName).
When I run this program from my PC - file is created and data is written into 
the file.
After I move this pgm to AS/400 - I get java.io.IOException. 
I created entry in TCP/IP host table with the given server name IP address. 
Still no luck...
Any help...
