Edouard,

A lot depends on what you are running. What version are you running?
Also, are you running Tomcat with Apache or standalone? Some other
things that would be helpful are the activity level (dspsyssts maxact)
for your subsystem that runs Tomcat and the connector you use (coyote or
http). Do you know what takes too much time? If you can isolate a
specific area then you can use iDoctor's performance analyzer to look
for a bottleneck, but I would look for the obvious things first like
synchronization issues.

Hi,

We are running a Tomcat server on the AS/400 with a servlet that
receives
around 1000 transactions a day. Sometimes the server starts running
very
slow and I don't know what to check. Is there a way to verify what is
wrong, can we debug it or something?

Thanks.

Edouard Lanteigne
