Does anyone know where I might be able to find information on writing a java program for all of our company's PCs that will listen for a remote command coming from our as400? Basically, I need a way around RUNRMTCMD and STRPCCMD due to a webfaced application (webfacing doesn't like them)...Ideally, the PC would be listening for the remote command; and a Java program running on our as400 would send the PC a command via the PCs IP address...If anyone can think of an easier way to go, please enlighten me...I've only been programming with Java for a month or so...
