Not sure what you mean. You can create, compile and run Java programs on the iSeries using a variety of tools, both on the iSeries (like PDM) and external to the iSeries (such as Eclipse or Websphere Development Studio client).

If you are talking about connecting to the iSeries as a database server, JDBC works just fine.

What are planning to do ?
