Hey.I am afraid you need to read the registry to find this. Reason being that if you have non-english windows installed 'Desktop' isn't called 'Desktop' anymore. It's in the value *Desktop* of the key *\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders*.
