At Touchtone, with our Wintouch and ThinView applications,we didn't have the luxury of using the Toolbox classes,since they hadn't even reached beta test by the time wewere shipping product.

So we used a proprietary interface protocol, calling thesocket APIs (and in the case of Wintouch, the RPG "guts")from ILE C.

We don't recommend this for new development, although itdoes have the advantage that it doesn't require "HostServers" to be running, or even installed.
