Hi All,

We are deploying some .jar files to our dev box by copying them to a network share mapped to the IFS. This works fine and our programs run well.

However, when it comes time for our Change Control department to deploy to test/production boxes (using MKS Implementor), it complains that our Java program objects wont fit into a TGTRLS=*PRV save file.

Now, in this shop, we create all our iSeries objects at TGTRLS=*PRV because our boxes may be spread over two releases. I've checked the resultant Java programs and found they are the same target release as our development box, V5R3.

Finally, my question :)

Is there any way to force the iSeries to make a *PRV Java program when we first run the .jar?

Thanks

Dave Stannard
