"monAdresseIP" is in fact the public ip of the server,
and it is not retrieved from a variable field, I just send it in a String.
I changed the real value in "monAdresseIP", that should have been
"myIPAddress",
just to mask the real address.

When I start a telnet session on the smtp server from the system i command
line,
everything is fine.

It's only through websphere that things go wrong.
I'm wondering where the wrong localhost can be memorized...

Since I restarted websphere, the SMTP server refuses the connection,
because it receives a host name
wich is like "theNameOfMyPreviousAS400@myDomainName".
So I see in the debug :
EHLO "theNameOfMyPreviousAS400@myDomainName" invalid domain name.

This might be a TCP/IP configuration issue on the websphere host.

What is the value of "monAdresseIP" and how do you retreive it?
