It's very unlikely that such a feature will ever be added to RPG. Currently, RPG can't even keep track of object references from statement to statement within the same module. But even if it could do that, it couldn't keep track of how the object references are maintained in other native modules, which might not even be RPG.

From RPG's point of view, Java objects never go out of scope.
