There should be multiple .jar files.  You'll have to extract the .tar file.
I think we just downloaded the .zip file, rather than the .tar.gz.

Getting started with Rpg and Java and want to load Jakarta-POI classes to
our iSeries.
have downloaded the .tar.gz binary from Apachie POI and extracted with 7zip
so now have a 92 MB file with .tar file extension
For some reason I expected a .jar file extension, but maybe this is the
file I
should copy to /QIBM/UserData/Java400/ext  ???
