Maybe those sites need to be updated. Perhaps a footnote indicating that
End of Support for the Java 6 options is April 30, 2018.
Apparently dropping versions of Java is a bigger thing and needs more
notice than the year's notice commonly given to EOS of a version of IBM i.
I know it often causes much wailing and gnashing of teeth in the Domino
for IBM i world. It's the reason why there's often no compatible version
of Domino on the date of a new release of IBM i. Sometimes it's tough to
get IBM to work with IBM.
