Summary I didn't find anything automatically switching over to JDK 11.
Details:
Did PTF group and IPL over the weekend. I had installed Java 11 earlier.

Nothing returned. However if I drop the 'not' I get hits.

Follow up question on this.
If 5770JV1 19 Java SE 11 64 bit is installed, will anything start using this by default?

Niels,
What IBM OS level are you at, and what PTF level.
I'm at V7R3, current CUME and all groups.
 IBM's apps are running a combo of Java8 32 bit and Java8 64 bit.
Last time I checked, most IBM's apps are hardcoded to use a certain level of Java, they don't use the system default.
I'm looking into the Java 11, but have some reservations that some apps may break.

Anyone using Java 11 yet on IBM i? It's been out for a while.
I'm downloading it now from ESS. It's not part of any of the B groups.
It's standalone. It becomes 5770-JV1, option 19 Licensed Product
Program Option Description
5770JV1 19 Java SE 11 64 bit
Which makes me wonder what option 18 is/was/will be.
The new Navigator coming out with soon with the new http group will
support Java 8 or 11.
