Mike,
I asked on an IBM internal mailing list, and here's the response I
got. Not sure if that helps you or not.

-----------------------------------------------------
Most of the IBM networking books are available on the IBM Networking
Systems Collection (latest is September 1999). It is a 3-CD set orederable
as a publication SK2T-6012-23. Internals in the US can order via puborder.
Externals can probably buy it through a local branch office. Puborder shows
selling price as $100. CDs contain over 1310 unlicensed books for over 270
networking products. The manuals may be available on the web but I don't
know where. With a number of tn3270 servers already available I'm not sure
why someone without any SNA background would even want to start
implementing one.

Hi,

I know this is a list about 5250, but I thought there might be some over
lap with 3270 here. I'm looking for documentation that would be useful in
implementing a tn3270e -> SNA gateway. I have the 3270 telnet RFC and the
datastream reference. I'm lacking information on the SNA side.

From what I can dig up, the 3270 display stream is an LU2
connection. Beyond that I don't have a lot of details.

Thanks

Mike Madore
