Hi James,

When you create these RPMs are you simply doing it with a rpm -ta on
our tarballs?  Or are you doing something more than that?

The reason I ask is that I'd like to put RPMs on our site on sourceforge
for people to download.   But, I'm not a Linux person, and I don't really
know if the RPMs I create are correct.

Are there other considerations?  Like, do I have to generate different
RPMs for different releases of RedHat?   I'm primarily a FreeBSD user, so
forgive me if this sounds naive, but, do RedHat RPMs work on other Linuxes
(Slackware, Debian, etc) or are they completely separate?
