That's what I was thinking when I did `man tn5250` earlier today.  I 
just knew I saw the answer in a man page, so I went on a hunch (after 
having recently read other man pages named for the configuration files 
that interested me.)

I can't help with the font selection for resizing in the xterm.  I never 
had a need for that either.  Unfortunately I used WDSCi and sometimes 
other Windows only programs, so I'm not in Linux much at work these days.
