Hi, The tn5250 server is built into Sim390, not into MUSIC/SP. In fact, MUSIC/SP thinks it is talking to a 3270 (because of the data stream conversion Sim390 does). MUSIC/SP under Hercules (on Win or Linux) does not even have tcp/ip support, except for tn3270 provided by Hercules itself. - Dave Edwards On Tue, 17 Oct 2006 10:03:00 +0200, "Holger Schurig" <hs4233@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> said:
For more info on Sim390 (free for personal use), see:Is the tn5250 emulation built into Sim390? Or is it in MUSIC? In the latter case, if I run MUSIC unter Hercules (in Linux), would I be able to use tn5250 as well?
