IIRC, xt5250 ignores the font_80 and font_132 keywords unless _both_ of them are specified. Please try setting both font_80 and font_132 to something (even if it's just font_80=fixed) and see if that helps.

Another thing that you appear to be doing wrong (though, it might just be the e-mail you posted) is that you're doing "xt5250 brcc2" and your config file is "BRCC2". The names are case-sensitive. So BRCC2 is not the same as brcc2.

Good luck

I'm trying to make xt5250 scale up to fill a whole window and increase the
text size, but it does not appear to be honoring the settings in the

can tell me where I went wrong..
BRCC2 {
host = 192.168.1.200
env.DEVNAME=BRCC2
env.TERM = IBM-3477-FC
font_132=file:-*-courier-*-*-bold-*-16-140-*-*-*-*-*-*-
+local_print_key
+uninhibited
}

I'm invoking it from a terminal window (for testing purposes) as follows
"xt5250 brcc2" and it connects just fine, but it's in a small window maybe
6" tall by 8" wide (at most) and I want it to be full-screen. How the heck
do I do that? I was looking at the man page, and I thought I had it figured
out with the env.TERM and the font settings, but that doesn't seem to have
any bearing on the matter. :(

Thanks
