I used OS X for three plus months before I experienced a single issue of this nature. Once I did help was easily available and I have had little trouble since in the 2+ years I've been using it.

I did not expect Linux to be as easy as Mac - but given the publicity I had hoped it was closer to the OS X experience than it is. I have every intention of continuing to try to learn it.

platforms? Of course Linux is not
