I guess you want to use the Windows version. I would recommend you also install wine-doors (an application installer for wine). There should be a version for Linux for RDI? Did you you check the IBM DeveloperWorks site?I found this link. I hope this helps. Wine is pretty good I tested it several times and it works depending on how the application is written.

http://www-01.ibm.com/software/rational/linux/

------- Original Message ------- On 11/16/2009 11:50 AM Alan Smith wrote:
Has anyone been able to successfully install RDi or WDSC on Ubuntu?
Using Wine or anything else?

--
This is the Discuss & plan a Linux based desktop environment for IBM i (LinuxDesktop4i) mailing list
To post a message email: LinuxDesktop4i@xxxxxxxxxxxx
To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options,
visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo /linuxdesktop4i
or email: LinuxDesktop4i-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives
at http://archive.midrange.com/linuxdesktop4i.
