I can understand your frustrations, for sure. ;-)

When you use Ubuntu day in and day out and when you need an application
you just go to the repository and get one, you realize Ubuntu isn't the
issue, but it is IBM's issue.

Hopefully next summer's IBM Linux intern will update the packages for
iSeries Access for Linux. ;-)
