We only buy IBM thinkpads.. A little more pricey, but they are rock solid..

        This may be off the subject or purpose of this group.  
        I was wondering if anyone has bought anything from TigerDirect? What 
        kind of luck and quality have you gotten. Any horror stories? 
        I got a notice they have a laptop on sale... here are some of the 
specs: 
        C67-1264 P  Compaq 2568CL / Pentium 4 2.66GHz / 512MB / 80GB / DVDROM - 
 CDRW Combo Drive / XP Home / Refurbished Notebook PC  Selling for $1199. 

        Seems like a hell of a good deal. 

        A Dell with similiar features is over $1600.  This is a new one. Any 
        horror stories with Dell.
