Lloyd,

We had a 9406 S20 4-way processor with 3 gig memory and went to a 9406 810
single processor with 8 gig memory and it did "cure" MAPICS Browser. (don't
know why exactly - maybe the memory?) Our PCs did not change, but now
Browser is a great tool for the users. We actually went down a "tier" as
far as processor goes, so there was no additional charge from MAPICS.
Processors are in tier groups and that is what MAPICS bases pricing on
unless you are user based. (We did not add any MAPICS modules when we
installed the new iSeries. ) MAPICS is hosting a technical webinar today
on how to speed up Browser. 11am Eastern.
