"If you have a morning available, I can get your purchase order working in JacanaForms. Of course, I know that there is more to a buying decision than just sending the CD. Maybe one of the kind folks on the list can send you a copy of their changes so you can be running today? Then you can look at more preferable solution for tomorrow..." Thank you Greg. That might be a solution for "tomorrow". We have decided to put the comments hard-coded in the *PRTF. On green screen, there is no MAPICS-native way of doing what ///i want to do. MAPICS advised me that I can use the browser and use Procurement Management. I can set comments there at the vendor/item level and when I create a P.O., I can pull always the comments previously defined and include them in the purchase order. That sounded great. However, our reality is that we print P.O.s using green screen also, so we need the solution to run OK under both scenarios. They have no user exists for this neither. I was also thinking about the fact of using a trigger just to create automatically comments like this but that is an idea that is not feasible right now due to the time constraint we have... :o( Maybe the tool you are mentioning will help. Is not my call at this time. We have almost resolved this issue; maybe alternatives like JacanaForms might be evaluated by the pertinent people here in the future.
