Good morning all!
(We are in Rel 6)
A client just showed me evidence that he was able to do an 'RC'
transaction against a suspended item, which was surprising to me. What is
the effect of a suspended item in MAPICS? I am trying to look for detail
and more precise information in the manual or online but I can find the
type of answer I am looking for. I thought that the "S" in ACREC will
stop "new" activity to be allowed but it will allow "current" activity to
finalize, like existing mfg/pur/sls orders to complete. Under this
explanation, I also though that "miscellaneous" activity is prohibited
because the system will ensure that this is for "current" activity,
related to orders already issued ... but looks like it can be done.
Can somebody explains this? I want to make good notes of it.
TIA,
Peter Vidal
