Capacity Planning

Hello ML,

We are looking at capacity planning tools, can anyone recommned some
vendors that fit nicely with MAPICS.

We will be at R9. We plan to look at Infor's VPI, but we need to look at
alternatives as well.

Also, if you have VPi (Advanced Planner) perhaps you can answer a question:
does having EPDM with VPi allow the system to automatically incorporate
alternative routers to react to work center overload, or batch size? (If
qty <= x, use router A, if > than x, use B...) We currently have PDM only,
but are getting mixed comments out there on the advantage of EPDM with
planning tools.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
