Leif, do you remember my sending you a private email a long while back, where I was getting (I think) a similar error, and it boiled down to the PEND; (or something as simple as that) missing from the MI code that *makes* your front-end ? I think that's where Chris is having the error, in the source that creates the front-end. Is that right Chris ? --phil >-----Original Message----- >From: Leif Svalgaard [mailto:leif@leif.org] >Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2001 4:20 PM >To: MI400@midrange.com >Subject: Re: MI - Compiler. > > >Phil, my compiler front-end puts in the PEND; >and various quotes, etc to stop run-away strings and comments. >I think the problem is running the RPG program to create >the compiler front-end > >----- Original Message ----- >From: Hall, Philip <phall@spss.com> >To: <MI400@midrange.com> >Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2001 4:10 PM >Subject: RE: MI - Compiler. > > >> do you have PEND; as the last line of the MI source array... >> >> >-----Original Message----- >> >From: Chris Beck [mailto:CBeck@good-sam.com] >> >Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2001 3:44 PM >> >To: mi400@midrange.com >> >Subject: MI - Compiler. >> > >> > >> >I am trying to create the compiler from Leif's Common presentation. >> > >> >I get these errors when I run the rpg program >> > >> > Error RPG0202 caused program CRTMIPGM to stop. >> > Space offset X'00007000' or teraspace offset X'0000000000000000' is >> > outside current limit for object QPADEV0006CBECKSEC 008868. >> > Dump output directed to spooled file 3. >> > Application error.
