The Client Access API also allows you to download spool files. You need to
convert the files from EBCDIC to ASCII and then find the control characters
in the file. The control characters allow for horizontal and vertical
relative and absolute positioning, which are relatively trivial to
replicate.

Is it possible to to copy a spoolfile to a Pc document without loosing the
column spaces.
