DRV Technologies provides a variety of software solutions to
companies using the IBM System i (i5, iSeries AS/400)
platform. 
These solutions include but are not limited to capturing and
converting spooled file reports into PDF, Excel, HTML, XML,
TXT, 
and replace pre-printed forms and checks with newly designed
electronic forms which can print on laser printers.  
 
JOB DESCRIPTION 
The proper candidate is a high energy individual with
outstanding communication skills that is responsible for
working directly with 
our customers to answer questions, troubleshoot software
problems and solve customer issues in a timely manner via
phone and email, 
also assist in-house sales consultants with individual
accounts. Previous Software support experience on IBM System
i (i5, iSeries AS/400) 
platform is REQUIRED. This position offers some flex time
opportunities. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
. Log all communications with customers in Customer Service
database. 
. Identify, troubleshoot, replicate customers software
issues 
. Build rapport with customers by keeping them well informed
of any reported issues until
  the issue is resolved to the customers satisfaction. 
. Conduct prompt follow-up on questions or reported issues
from customers and sales
  consultants. 
. Handle inbound support calls live whenever possible. 
. Possesses the ability to recognize business risks,
document and keep good records,
  resolve reported issues in a timely manner, and follow
company policies and procedures. 
. Builds and maintains a solid working relationship with all
team members. 
 
SUPPORT SKILLS 
. Successful track record supporting customers on IBM System
i (i5, iSeries AS/400). 
. Absolute integrity is required when interacting with
customers. 
. Skilled at answering incoming call in "consultative"
environment. 
. Demonstrate persistence, overcome obstacles and strive to
improve skills and achieve
  assigned goals. 
. Intensely success minded and your resume proves it by your

  Customer Support as a Customer/Software Support
Representative.

. 1-3 years minimum related software support experience 
. 1-3 years IBM System i (i5, iSeries, AS/400) experience 
. Professional telephone presence and experience with daily
telephone interactions.
