Please consider calling the Program Chair of your local Mid-range user
group.  Make a tie-in with them and help them bring top-quality speakers
to your area for the general User Group meeting.  Either use the meeting
as your focused training session, or plan a separate session for your own
group.  In either case you can have world-class speakers on any topic you
are interested in.   

Use the User Group. They are there, anxious to help, and they know their
way around the industry.  Perhaps your User Group even has  SIGs (Special
Interest Groups) that meet on a regular basis.
