Dan:

You have to use a numeric overflow indicator (OA, OF, etc., won't work)
on the F-spec for the printer file. Asuming it's indicator 50--

In your C-specs: (not to scale)

C                 *IN50    IFEQ  *ON
C                          EXFMT HEAD
C                          ENDIF
C                          EXFMT DETAIL
