Is this a rhetorical question?
None.
Program defined printer files require alpha overflow
indicators and externally defined require numeric. There are other ways
of determining whether overflow has been reached(I mentioned a couple of
them previously) for both internally defined and externally defined printer
files, But overflow indicators are still the simplest way still of
determining overflow.
