• Subject: Netware for SAA problems & TCP/IP over F

We've been experiencing some strange problems here with our NWSAA. Once
in a while, we will get a "System Start Failed 4FF" message on our
NETSOFT router. There is no obvious cause, and the router config's were
working fine moments before. Our lan & hardware tech's rack their brains
for a while... and then the problem corrects itself.

Anyone else experienced something like this?

On a similar note: We've got a remote site that is currently using the
NWSAA to get into the '400... we're contemplating having them come in via
TCP/IP over our Frame Relay instead. Does anyone know of special
configuration options that are required on the REMOTE PC, AS400, Frame
Relay.

TIA!

david
