Hello everyone,

We are moving our offices next week. Currently, I have several AS/400s and
PCs on a token ring, all running into a patch panel in the computer room.
The physical MAUs are IBM 8228s with a balun to convert to RJ45 for the
wiring system.

To avoid future baluns, I'm looking at eliminating the 8228s. I'm looking
at IBM 8226, and Transition Network's StackMaster TR - Active Retiming Hub.
Does anyone have any thoughts about these products or any others.

Al
