        I know and have installed a product called Connect:Direct for OS/400.   
The vendor is Sterling Commerce. This product is part of a series of    
applicatons to interconnect a variety of IBM, UNIX and netware  operating 
systems. In the case of Connect:Direct for OS/400, I believe
        you can connect to other systems either thru SNA (APPN) or TCP/IP.
