New programs are being written in RPG4. A few older programs have been 
converted. The client is running V3R1 so it is not imperative to convert all 
programs. I cannot convince them to move to V3R2.

Mostly just CRTBNDRPG though I've combined modules with CRTPGM a couple of 
times when programs were called repeatedly.

Yes.

Finding out how (and why) people were using activation groups was one of the 
big questions I had going into Common at Boston. I understand more about what 
happens with activation groups now, I just think I will be using them for now. 
One person in a department using them when nobody else does sounds like a VERY 
bad plan.
