Why not simply write a front end program that then creates the RUNQRY
command string?
Another alternative would be to use an API, there misht be on for
RUNQRY, but probably not (Since we need it!!)
Had a similar problem trying to write a Validity checking program for
CHGJOB command. One of the solutions provided simply had 50 one byte
paramaters, then you could enter a parameter in the command, the VCP
would execute, then it would do a DMP on the program. Unpassed
paramaters would have an error message, the passsed paramater would not.
You could then expand that field to the size/type necessary.
