Space and Null

$B!!!!!!(J We are making some applications using MS-Access(ver 2.0 on
Windows 3.1), which use CA/400 ODBC to import/export data from/to
DB2/400(V3R6).
When we import a table, fields without values became space,which$B!!(J makes
the process in MS-Access complex, the process will more simple if it
were Null; and when export a table with Nulls in fields , we also get an
error message. Any suggestions,please!
