  * EQUIVALENT ABSTRACT:
LIC-TAPE DSPTAP _SAVRST HANGS SYSTEM ON D/T3570 OR D/T3590 TAPE
  SAVED USING THE SAVSAVFDTA COMMAND
Customer saved data to a D/T3570 tape drive using the
SAVSAVFDTA command and then tried using the DSPTAP *SAVRST
command to view the tape and the system hung up with solid
CPU. A MSD was taken and it was determined that task LDLOIM
was taking all of the CPU. This could also occur with D/T3590
tape drives. The MSD also showed that the system was trying to
  go down with SRCB6005121, SRC0002000A, SRC00100013, SRC00000002.
  LOCAL FIX:
Don't use DSPTAP on tapes saved using the SAVSAVFDTA command.
  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Customer saved data to a D/T3570 tape drive using the
SAVSAVFDTA command and then tried using the DSPTAP *SAVRST
command to view the tape and the system hung with solid
CPU. A MSD was taken and it was determined that task LDLOIM
was taking all of the CPU. This could also occur with D/T3590
  tape drives.
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
When using D/T3590 or D/T3570 (devices which support the
USEOPTBLK(*YES) parameter on save commands) if a tape file
created by the SAVSAVFDTA command is followed by any other tape
file the DSPTAP *SAVRST would cause the system to go into a
solid run loop. The problem has been corrected.
  TEMPORARY FIX:
  COMMENTS:
  MODULES/MACROS: #LDLOOC #LDMODE
  SRLS: NONE
  RTN CODES:
  CIRCUMVENTION:
When doing a DSPTAP *SAVRST only process one tape file at a
time. Do not process the entire tape in one command.
