In addition to this, we've created a CL that contains a series of CHGCMDDFT
commands for all of the changes in our duplicate library. This CL is run
immediately following the upgrade, before we go live...

If you want to modify command defaults for IBM commands, we do not do so in
QSYS.  For example, if you want your printers to resume printing without
having to respond to a message in QSYSOPR after adding paper, you can
change
the command default for CRTDEVPRT to PRTERRMSG(*INFO).  We create a library
called SYSMODS (others call it ALTQSYS) with AUT(*USE) specified.  We
modify
QSYSLIBL to put this library in front of QSYS.  We then use a program
CRTDUPOBJ to copy the commands into SYSMODS and modify the command defaults
using CHGCMDDFT.
