The Multi-Function Card Unit was the card reader/punch on the System/3 line
of computers. It handled 96 column cards. It had 2 input hoppers and 4
output stackers (not unlike the MFCM, Multi-Function Card Machine, which
handled 80 column cards and had 2 input hoppers and -5- output stackers).

Last used (so I believe) on the System/3 line of computers. All card units
died a gruesome death once 8" floppy and on-line processing took over from
cards.
