I am currently working with each of the above at different client sites.
Both present almost the same information, but the look and feel of Hawkeye
is much more comfortable, almost "PDMish". Hawkeye will allow file/field
reference using generic FILNAM* style search, while Probe is not so simple.
Probe does have good functionality in providing subroutine reference and
copy member usage, etc. Probe also provides additional productivity tools.
My opinion - I prefer to work with Hawkeye but would not be averse to
working with Abstract/Probe.
