Actually there a fantastic reason for moving to HTML in IBM's case, because almost all of the help texts are handled through BookManager, the data files for which are built from BookMaster files, which is an(other) SGML-based language, so converting to HTML is very easy. There's even an externally-availible REXX package that does a very thorough conversion at <http://www.vm.ibm.com/download/packages/> that I've used under both VM and OS/2 and could probably be tweeked into running in REXX/400.
