Email Setup

Does anyone know if this sounds feasible should it work.

1/AS connected to the Internet and acting as an SMTP gateway and also
POP3 server.

2/ A second AS connected to the first via SNADS with officevision users
on it.

Can I set the officevision users to be able to receive and send EMAIL
through the SMTP AS. Now I think I can it would reuire setting a default
route on the second AS that points to the first, and then using
directory shadowing to copy the directory from the SMTP AS to the OV AS.
Setting the SMTP AS to log users as they send EMAIL?

Would that work all OV users would be enrolled into the SMTP AS so that
there mail can be sent via SNADS to the OV system.
