Roy, The 100-year thing has been on S/38 & AS/400 from their inception (AFAIK-wasn't at the birth myself). It goes from 1/1/1940 to 12/31/2039. The assumption is that anything with a year>=40 is 1900's, <=39 is 2000's. If your business doesn't use dates outside that range, you might get by with it for awhile by applying the fix. But we're all facing this on AS/400s anyway. Hope this helps a little Cheers Vernon Hamberg Systems Software Programmer Old Republic National Title Insurance Company 400 Second Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55401 (612) 371-1111 x480 +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
