Evidently some took it and were thinking it was a general RPG test and their list of questions was really heavily skewed with the NEW op cods and RPG/4/400 stuff...you read between the lines here... bummer. These are nice features I supppose but what do they have to do with RPG and the AS/400? Why is IBM turning RPG into C++? They already have C++ and Java, why do they need a third C++ language? If a client wants C++ code then let him hire C++ programmers, not RPG professionals. Sorry if I sound upset, but somewhere along the line somebody has to write code, including Y2K. Learning new "neat stuff" day after day costs somebody a lot of time, production, and money. ---------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin Contract Programming, Inc. --------------------------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
