You might be looking for VisualAge for Java. It is available. There is a
free "entry" version, a Professional edition (about $75-80 street price)
and an Enterprise edition ($1800!!). You can see it all at

        http://www.software.ibm.com/ad/vajava/

I think the product is incredible!

There are links at the above site for the Hursley site James Kilgore
mentioned, for AS/400 Java development, and for IBM's Java home page.
There's a ton of material—online tutorial, porting C++ to Java, other
tutorials, Sun's Java pages, etc.—just follow the yellow brick links!
Taligent has a lot of stuff, too.

The "entry" version gives you no help text, so the Professional may be the
way to go. And if you had any other Java development tool (Visual J++,
Café, etc.), I think there's a $75 rebate from IBM. Check out
http://www.provantage.com or http://www.pparadise.com for online sales or
info.

Cheers
