I can't claim to know why, but I *ALWAYS*
use the character operators (e.g. *EQ as
opposed to =) when using OPNQRYF, because
sometimes (at apparently random intervals,
possibly related to the sunspot cycle and
the orbit of Uranus :)) the = or <> or
whatever causes me problems too. I don't
know why one works and the other doesn't,
but there it is.
