On my excursion to COMPUTERWORLD web site I saw a article from Jan 97 titled The Egg, VMS, or NT. It said Dave Cutler was the chief architect of NT used to work for (Bought from?) from DEC. He was one of the original architects of VMS. It went on to say that "Many of NT's internal data structures resemble those of early VMS. " Hmmm IBM -> HAL as VMS -> WNT . Just a letter off. Hmmmm I guess Microsoft does "invent" alot of NEW things. (Did they invent DOS?, Hmm Did they invent the Window interface or was it an Apple in someone elses eye?) Now about that "Launch Pad" , What an orginial idea, I guess it's in their OS Too or is that OS/2?
