You leave SQL/400 and say, "save session," and it does.  The next time you
use SQL, your previous SQL statements are there for your copying pleasure..

I doubt you can consolidate the separate "prior sessions" into a single
"previous session" for a user, but you have several options:

F13 to get to Services, then option 4 to save the session to a source file.
        This has the potential advantage of allowing you to create a central
        "database" of SQL statements for all your SQL users: save the session
        to a "work" member, then copy the appropriate statements to a 
        "toolkit" member and annotate them.  You can then use normal
        security to let the proper users see the proper statements via a
        simple menu option that executes STRSEU SRCFILE(SQLTOOLS)
        SRCMBR(*SELECT) OPTION(5) - lets 'em look but not touch!        
        "Copy & Paste" can get them from the source member to the SQL
        session...
Use Windoze "Copy & Paste" functions to get code from one session to
        the other.  This only works if both sessions are on the same PC.

I keep commonly used SQL statements in my folder on the Novell Server
so I can "Copy & Paste" them no matter where I am in the company.
You can use WordPad to read/annotate/update the file, and it also
prints nicely should you need a hard copy.  In addition, you can easily
email a PC file anywhere...
