John,

That sounds about like what I had read about. It's actually one of our
customers (large Canadian Insurance company with 4 AS/400's) that were
asking me about it. I'll pass the information on to them and have them
contact you directly if they want to pursue.

PS - Do you have any marketing info available (brochure or something)
you could fax me ? Do you have a web site with info on this ? Did you
advertise this product a few months ago in one of the AS/400 mags ?
(Or maybe I saw it as a new product announcement ?).

We have a product that allows you to specify 'rules based' access to
the
/400 through the use of exit programs. You can control access by User
or by
Device, and can also permit access that is either greater than or less
than the
users 'green screen' authority. Access for a given user can also be
controlled by CA Server or Function, giving you the flexibility to
permit a
user to download, but not upload, or to block out remote command from
one
user or device, but allow it for another.

It's administered via AS/400 menu's with a panels that were modeled
after
the EDTOBJAUT panels. If that's what you're looking for, give me a
shout
and I can arrange a demo tape.
